Don't Use Your Email Password Anywhere Else

Like me, you are probably tired of remembering 500 different passwords for email, banking, online shopping, mygov, facebook, this website, that website, etc. Most of us probably use the same passwords for these online services to make our lives easier.


While this is convenient, please use a unique password for your email account that you don't use anywhere else. The reason is if some hacker managed to steal your login details from a website that you subscribed to, they will try to login to your email account using the stolen password. If it's the same password, they are free to wreak havoc on your life.


So please, don't use your email password anywhere else.
